Umialik Announces 2015 Agency Recognition Recipients
(Anchorage, Alaska) Umialik Insurance Company today announced that three partner agencies have been selected to receive honors as part of its annual recognition program: Fairbanks-based Rural Alaska Insurance Agency has been named the 2015 Umialik Commercial Lines Agency of the Year; Bethel-based Malone Insurance Agency has been named the 2015 Umialik Personal Lines Agency of the Year; and Anchorage-based Alaska USA Insurance Brokers has been selected by Western National Insurance Group President & CEO Stuart Henderson as a recipient of the group’s 2015 President’s Award.
The Commercial and Personal Lines Agency of the Year awards are presented annually to recognize the agencies who have demonstrated the most outstanding performance, growth, and partnership in those lines of business over the past year. To be eligible for either award, an agency must also demonstrate that they meet high standards of professional excellence and integrity.
The Western National Insurance Group’s President’s Award is awarded exclusively at the discretion of the group’s President & CEO. To be eligible, an agency must demonstrate its commitment to partnership and to embodying the group’s values. In the case of Alaska USA Insurance Brokers, Henderson cited the agency’s commitment to meeting performance and growth goals, collaborating on community involvement opportunities, and high-quality communication with Umialik’s staff throughout the year.
In addition to the three annual awards, five agencies were identified as Umialik’s 2015 Top 5 Agency Partners, recognizing their place among the 90th percentile for overall performance, growth, and partnership over the past four years. This year’s Top 5 Agency Partners group includes Alaska USA Insurance Brokers, Conrad-Houston Insurance, Denali Alaskan Insurance, Malone Insurance Agency, and Rural Alaska Insurance Agency.
