INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Umialik Internship Program is designed to offer valuable hands-on technical experience in specific areas of interest to interns, while also providing the necessary tools and resources to facilitate a smooth transition into their chosen career. Through our internship program, students can obtain real-world 'insurance' experience while making significant contributions to our teams through their work. Being a subsidiary of Western National Insurance Group, the internship program will offer both in-person and virtual experiences with interns from other offices.

We recruit at several risk management and business job fairs and events, primarily in the fall. Additionally, we post our intern roles on various job posting sites including Handshake and LinkedIn.
